I'm Pissed.

  • I'm pissed I get distracted by the "instantly available" library of music.
  • I'm pissed that my music library is so big.
  • I'm pissed I hardly listen to anything more than twice.
  • I'm pissed I don't listen to music like I used to.

A Tale of Hypocrisy

I'm doing something I never thought I'd do. After years of advocating Apple, I'm switching to Windows for all my mobile and home computing needs. Not ready to make the switch at work anytime soon. But after having a Windows Phone 7 (WP7), I have seen an interface that was so simple, yet so elegant, it makes me want to use it. I have tried the Developers Preview of Windows 8 on an HP Slate. Its the best of both worlds. Tablet and desktop computing merged into one. It is slated to be released sometime next year and I will be ready with an HP Touchsmart computer. Yes, after converting so many people to Apple products, I'm crossing over to the "dark side". It will at least make me more well rounded in technology anyway. I've probably gone through, what, six phones in probably the last year? I'm that crazy. Buying and selling on ebay helps. So, I will have a Windows desktop for the first time in my life. I like what the future holds.....

Charlie and Byron This Weekend

I need a good show. After the week I've had so far. I need to see music that will set me right in the head. Looks like this weekend will be it. Mr. Robison at the Dog Friday and Mr. Berline at the Double Stop Saturday. I don't think I've seen Charlie play in at least 3 years. The time is right. And Saturday? I'm ready for some pickin' and a grinnin'. Here's you a little taste of what goes down above the little fiddle shop in downtown Guthrie.

Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' bout folks. Oh, I turn 35 Saturday. Crazy. If you see me out buy me a shot. I need it.

  • Most Cuss Words in a Show That Didn't Allow Cussin' - Faster Pussycat
  • Most Talkin' - Dokken
  • Biggest Disappointment - Slaughter
  • Bands That Redeemed Themselves from Previous Shows - Cinderella and Ratt
  • Biggest Stage Presence - Scorpions
  • Coolest Moment - Lita Ford singing Close My Eyes Forever in the middle of rain, thunder, and lightning
  • Best Drum Solo - Scorpion's Kottak Attack
  • Still My Favorite Band - Cinderella
