Damn I love Boot Liquor Radio. I felt like complete ass when I came to work this morning but all the songs they play pump me up to party. "Its time to switch to whiskey. We've been drinkin' beer all night" That's a great song. I feel great now. All aboard the Rock n Roll Pain Train.
Oh and BTW FYI, the new Table Zero/SweetWebsite shirts will make their first appearance tonight at the Bricktown Dog. Sweet ass sweet!

Oh what a week I had last night. Round one was beat to shit and conquered last night. Tonight the real party starts. I'm gonna need a few hairs of the dog that bit for this weekend.... and Texas.... you better be prepared for us Okies comin' down and raisin' a little hell in the old Stillwater tradition. We may have to have a Drunk Okie award for this trip, even though there' only like six of going. I think we'll all get the award some way or another. If anyone is within a couple hours driving distance from OKC, it'd be worth your while to come out tonight and witness the debauchery..... wait thats the wrong big word I wanted to use..... eh like Kevin said... "Fuck it". Lets get it on and I don't mean like Marvin Gaye.

Looks like I'm gonna kick off the ole party weekend a little early. Going to go watch Steve, Chad, and Kevin play at the Bricktown Dog tonight. Just what I need... an extra day of party. Getting pretty psyched about this weekend. Not sure of all of the plans but I do know its George Devore Saturday night and maybe floating the ole Guadalupe on Sunday. All I know is I better get the damn tradtional Sangria at the Grist Mill in Gruene. That shit is good. Anyway, this will be one of the coolest road trips I've taken in a long while. As for Friday night, Anybody that wants to come can come to the Bricktown Dog. Aaron Watson is playing that night. I've never heard him but I've seen his face everywhere. But the main reason everybody needs to come out is me. That's right, you get to party with the king baby. Hi-yaw! Help me kick 'er into gear for the weekend. Yeah... its kinda like that.

I posted a couple more of Stpehen Hawking's diaries we found. One is about what happened one day in his karate class and the other is about a trip to Six Flags with his buddies, Carl Sagan and L. Ron Hubbard. The Six Flags trip is the best one we've found so far. I wish I could've hung out with those guys on that day.

Alright boys and girls.... its crunch time now. We got less than two weeks before our big day. We went to give blood at the Oklahoma Blood Institute Saturday for our marriage license. Of course, my pressure was through the roof since I'm deathly afraid of needles. I did well thoug for about the first three minutes they were taking it out of me. Then my head started getting hot so they put cold compresses on me and raised my feet. Apparently that didn't work too well cuz they said I went completely white and kept asking me if I was ok. I almost had tunnel vision. So, I can't say that I'm ever going to give blood again. That one time was enough. Plus now, I was going to be a pretty cheap drunk at Stumbleweeds that night for No Justice and Ragweed. Let me just tell you people, the show that night was nothing less than unreal. Even though we watched the show from the "cheap seats" since we didn't want to fight the crowd and we were closer to the bar, Ragweed's show was a full tilt boogie rock n roll hodown. The light show was killer too. No Justice put out one helluva opening show. Jerry was like a machine playing solos damn near all night (even though he said he was "sick"). It was great to see Cross Canadian again. Haven't seen those boys in over a year. Its cool though cuz the saying is true, "the more things change, the more they stay the same". Hung out, bullshitted, and smoked way too many cigarettes til sometime after 3AM before we left the Weed. I am so proud of those guys and what they have accomplished. Its a great feeling. Man, what a great night. Gonna have to prepare myself for this coming weekend though. Crazy shit is afoot I do believe.
Oh yeah.... and pics are up too from Saturday night.

Wow... On the navigation table to the left here, you will find a new link called "Unearthed Diaries". These are the lost diaries of Stephen Hawking. Although he is a super genius, these diaies prove the existence of the line between smart and crazy. Good stuff these are. I have a few more that will be up soon. Just you wait!

So, we have another couple shower to go to tonight. Its at the Plaza hotel bar or something on Lincoln just north of the Capitol. This one should be a pretty entertianing one as its a bunch of politicians and workers from the capitol that Melisa's mom works with. Ain't nothing like drinkin' and politicin'. Then its off to Bricktown to the Dog to finish off the night.

So I did a little rearranging on the site here. I decided to kind of go back to basics. Image maps take too long to update so I made this all text base. I can now change the site with a willy nilly of my hand. I'm excited about this bottom part. There may be quotes, funny movies, pic I find interesting or whatever. They will be transfered to one of the downloads section once I post new stuff. I do have quite a bit of new Hooch I still gotta upload, so everybody stay tuned!..... yeah!
So, as I was driving to work this morning, I was thinking, Matt and I are the lowest common denominator when it comes to the use of internet technology. Take a look at the audioblog for instance. A great new service. You call a number, talk, and your voice is automatically converted to an mp3 and posted on a site. Thats a pretty cool communication tool. You could write a song and post it as soon as your done and have the world hear it. But what do we do? Call and bitch about something, make fun of something we see, drink a lot of beer and drunk dial the website, or even just call and give dead air. We are the proverbial "wrong hands" of technology.

Holy geez! What a weekend. If I learned anything this weekend, its no matter how much you've drank, how cool you think think you can make the situation, or how well you know the people...... you can NOT be a mediator to a husband and wife argument at a bar. It just doesn't work. So we figure, hey lets get more beer for us then! Ted call us about 4am Sunday morning and asks "what are you doing?" Well, lets see here... if you call and I answer at 4am? Guess what I'm doin.... partyin'. Needless to say, he got an ear full from everyone as we passed around the phone for about a half an hour catchin' up. He's working at Matchbox Studios in Austin and working with a band right now called Retrograde. How cool is that shit? All in all, our four night drinking stint was a huge success. We'll have to be sure and put another one of those on in the future.

So barkeep... won't you pick me... the longest hair of the dog that bit me.
Time to liven up people. Friday is here and that means happy hour for everyone. Gonna finish up here at work and we're gonna crack few open when we get home. May hit Hard Time ("CarpetWorld") and the Blue Bell Saloon tonight in Guthrie as well as Muddy Waters. I personally wanna hit the West Side Tavern. They have the coolest juke box there. A little old lady and her drunk husband run the joint and every beer there is $1.50, cash only.... all in cans. For everybody attending our soiree tomorrow at the Elks, you better have your liver clean for the evening cuz this thing may turn into an all nighter after we hit the strip. We're gonna hit this town til its teeth come out.

Wow.. did I post an audioblog last night? huh... guess so. Well, pics are up from last night. I turned a Thursday night into a Friday night... closed down the bar again. Macon Greyson was bad ass. One of the tightest bands around and full of energy. Kind of a Old 97's-ish sound. Good stuff. Guthrie tonight. Yeah, round 3.

Found out the Bricktown Dog has a new beer, for this month at least. A very, how do you say... ah yes.... mellifluous beer. Sol Cerveza. Needless to say, I climbed aboard a new train last night. A train that was not necessarily full of pain. Do you see where this is going? Yup, the Sol Train. It was a funky train too... as in the beer kinda smells like a foot, but it tastes damn good. A lime usually kills the smell but I don't need no stinking lime. I attribute the odor to what Mexico actually smells like. It takes you on a journey south of the border. Other countries and cities are labeled on the back of the bottle. I assumed those are where all the stops the Sol Train makes. Also, there was a new bomb dropped last night as well. To join the ranks of the Jager Bomb, there is now a Tuaca Bomb. We've long associated the taste of a Jager Bomb with cough medicine like Robitussin. Well, the Tuaca Bomb is more like Dimetapp. I'm pretty sure either one can kill more than a cold. They seem to habitually kill my brain activity. It seems last night, I thought I could run the Wormy Dog and make millions. Quite a business and confidence booster that kind of alcohol makes. Jeff's birthday was last night as well, so if you see him workin' the bar any this weekend, wish him a happy belated. Gonna hit it again tonight and see Macon Greyson. Looks like Friday night is Guthrie is a go. Going to a place called Muddy Waters. Then its Stillwater on Saturday. Highway junkie, Dave Palmer is rollin' his big rig into town that day. He's my other usher at the wedding. Looks like Saturday is going to turn into a par-to the-tee.
Got an email saying that audioblogger is now free. Everybody go on over there and sign up. It makes the internet very interesting.

Looks like I'll be heading down to Bricktown this evening to take some posters to the Dog. Gonna go down tomorrow and catch Macon Greyson too. They put on a great show. Lots of energy. Not really country at all either. May try to get a night out in Guthrie Friday night. The bars there are cheap as shit and people are... how do you say.... "interesting".
Lets see here.... Song of the day is: "12 Bar Blues", Bruce Robison

"Now, I want you to reach down there, between your legs and squeeze. Is that a pair a balls down there? I need somebody with a pair a balls now ok?" Well, you wanna see some guys with some balls? Check this shit out. These guys are showing their balls big time at Apple.
Since I will probably never be able to afford a West Coast or an Orange County, I'll have these guys build me a metric chopper. Jamie was tellin' me about these the other night. You can get one done for around 2K. That ain't bad... and they look killer as shit.

Well I hope everyone remembered to send a card or call or visit their mom yesterday and, as Tina Fey put it, "thank her for pushing you out of her vagina". I took off down to Ardmore to see my mom yesterday and celebrate my grandparents 62nd Anniversary. 62 fucking years people! They are soul mates. My cuz, uncle, and aunt showed up as well. We had our "family dessert" of grape ice cream. I tell you what, it's the best stuff you've ever had. Not much going on this week. Saturday Melisa and I are having our first couple shower at the Stillwater Elks Lodge. And guess what? Its gonna be a party. Should hit the strip afterward as all the students are gone so its makes the bars much nicer to hang out in.

After I shed a tear or two at the finale of Friends, we went and celebrated the engagement of Beth and Chad at the Dog. Had a pretty good turnout there as Chad, his brother Ryan, Andrew, and Kevin entertained us with musical delight. Jamie and Angie were there and told us of yet another engagement.... Ryan and Jennifer are gettin' hitched. At this rate everyone in the world should be married by the end of the decade. One big harmonious family.... burhur.

Happy 5th of May everybody! Today is the day you celebrate by drinking Mexican beers! Well, he finally did it... Chad asked Beth to marry him last night high atop the revolving restaurant thingy in OKC. Congratulations guys! May the road of life lead you to years of happiness. We'll see you guys tomorrow to celebrate at the Dog. In music news, on the Shield last night they played Steve Earle's "Ashes to Ashes" during the closing credits. That was pretty cool. On another note, I'm really getting into Sugarcult. All their songs pump me up.... not "pump me up" like Ahhhnawld... but pump me up like raising my fist to the sky. Yeah thats the ticket.

OK... so that didn't take as long as I thought.... Calf Fry pics are up too. Texas Jack, No Justice, and the Stragglers. Each band stepped it up a notch that night. Oh and Kevin got to play with all all of them.... bastard (I gotta practice my ukulele). Rock n Roll....
Jack and Todd pics from Friday night are up. Take a peek and see what you missed if you weren't there to witness it.

So for all you non-believers out there (I don't know if there are any), Todd Snider did show up to party and play with his buddy Jack all night long. That show last night just tied with the best live show I've seen. Seein' those two up there workin their magic was unbelievable. I couldn't find my camera and Kevin's camera was in his car but it was pouring down rain so no one wanted to get it but luckily Matt showed up with his. I snapped a few pics before the batteries went dead. They didn't let me record and that's cool. I didn't care. Texas Jack was great too but I gotta rave about Jack Ingram. He still knows how to put on a show. Now off to the Calf Fry in Stillwater!
