So, I've been balls deep in my computer(s)
Getting last minute art for shirt orders before Christmas. Finished up, printed and shipped the posters for the Reckless/Ragweed show in Amarillo next month. And now, I've really got my head buried in the Badwater "Straight from the Tap" project. I think I got a pretty stout idea for it if you know what I mean... buhur. But let's go back to last weekend or what I remember of it. Friday night was Cooder Graw's last Oklahoma show and Shurman opened up. We had taken Melisa's Mom out to eat for her birthday and we cut it close. As we had our first drink, Shurman was ready to rock. Fast forward past the shows (I'm tired of trying to review shit that's good already).... Bullshitted with Aaron about changing the name of the "Army Green" song. Good to hear its gonna be on the new cd. Ryin turned into the Corduroy Cowboy for a bit. I swear it will be his new MySpace pic once I post it. So, we closed down the bar and a few decided to afterparty at a dark little hole-in-the-wall near the Dog. Let's just say, there were blow torches and homemade "tobacco" devices involved. One of the most fun times "partying until the sun came up" I've had in years. Ryin and I headed to the Petro for some breakfast buffet grubbage. Finally to bed by 7:30am. Melisa comes and picks me up and we mill around until 4:30 and head to Tulsa for the Red Dirt Christmas. This, kids, I tell ya, was one of the best ones ever. All the bands got up and basically jammed for four hours. No set changes, breaks, or nothing. Constant good music for four hours by about 17 people. Shit that was fun. Well, I'll post pics and shit later. When I have time. Damn holidays. Rock on.

"Life's too short to have bad tone"
So, its been a while since posting. Been busy with work/parties. Lets see if we can get up to speed. Last Friday we headed to Tulsa for the big Buckcherry and Crossfade show. We picked Traye and his buddy Henry up in OKC and headed towards the Cain's. It was britally fucking cold when we got there. We saw the line outside and hoped it moved quickly. This was like piss you off cold. Luckily since Traye had us the hookup from Keeley Electronics, the road manager, Steve, from Buckcherry recognized him and pulled us to go around through the back door. Steve is a helluva nice guy now. Acted like he'd known us all for years. Cool cat. Got in line for a beer and back to the side stage just in time for Crossfade. Its my second time to see these guys. I gotta tell yeah they put on a great show. Real heavy on the lows. Ain't no high pitches here. Looked almost like a sellout crowd. Took a while to get to the pisser. Buckcherry then lit up the stage.... pun intended. I think they're my new favorite live band to see. Josh is everything a front man should be. All over the damn stage dancing and hitting every note with one bad ass voice. Not a bad song was played. Got to hang out with Keith Nelson after the show. Talked shop mostly telling Traye and Henry what he wanted in a new guitar pedal. Some sweet shit right there. He's worked with about every rock band thats big now. A very surreal night and a damn fun one too. Thanks to Traye for letting us tag along.
Saturday it was time to get up early and clean the house for our Christmas party. everybody showed up and we made the trek downtown to watch the Red Dirt Rangers play. The Sorrell Boot Company was awesome. Some bad ass custom boots there and a wait list for over a year to get some. Thats nuts. They got done a playing a little after 9 and came over to the house to party with us for a bit. Lots of good talk, just like all our parties. People can just sit, catch up, share ideas, plot to take over the world. I dig it. That was about it for last weekend.
Headed to the Dog Thursday to hang and bullshit for a bit. Then Friday its Shurman and Cooder Graw. Back to Tulsa Saturday for the Red Dirt Christmas. Rock til ya flop with a mop on top.

Yeah, we're that busy
Kinda been a shit week at work. Getting our Bowl shirts printed on top of tns of other orders. Our store Christmas party was last night was great until one of our coworkers got some shit news. Man its really cool to have support of friends. I won't delve into much but we all had a good cry and drank many a beer and smoked many a cigarette. Anyway looks like Tulsa tonight for Buckcherry. Tomorrow will be full of getting our house ready for our party. Gonna be a good time. Red Dirt Rangers... Come on up.

I don't know what it is.....
But even after years of people covering Suspicious Minds, about 90% of us still turn into backup singers seeing it live. Check out my video of us being complete jackasses for Adam Hood.... or maybe its all just me.
Parkerson Corral Christmas!
This is it! Come one come all! The Rangers are playing downtown. Its gonna be a party!

Hey man no solids.
So it was a good time Friday night at the Dog. Adam and Patrick put on a stellar show. On the way home I tackled a triple meat triple cheese What-a-burger and devoured the whole thing. Man that was some good shit. Saturday was spent shopping around the city. Didn't have any plans for the evening until we got a phone call while at Lowes inviting us to Stillwater. Boy that was a pretty tasty show and it might have been our last hoorah at the Weed. I think Lee Ann Womack is only 3 feet tall... But man her voice is amazing. She can sing like nobody's business. The rest of the boys put on a nice show with her before her solo set. The was way too much liquor drank and some crazy fun conversation through out the evening. Great to hang out with Chuck too. Swapping stories of when everyone ruled the entertaniment in Stillwater. I'm glad we went. Well worth coming home at 4am.
