Since there are absolutely no good shows at the Dog this weekend, I scouted around to see who else might be playing in the area. And as fate would have it, as soon as I downloaded Saliva's new cd, I went to their website to look for their tour. Bingo... Diamond ballroom Saturday night with Crossfade. Fuckin' A! I love me some Saliva. The first band to call out those pussy post-grunge-full-of-angst-wanna-be rockers of the 2000's (i.e. Staind, POD, etc). They play rock for rock's sake. I saw Saliva with Nickelback back in 01 or 02 and I think they blew the shit out of Nickelback. Got to see Crossfade with Buckcherry a couple of months ago and they do pretty good for some young 'uns. Got some good vocals. So Saturday night at the ol' Diamond Ballroom. Get your rock on.
