Melisa and I went to see Watchmen last night. Great flick. Three hours long. Did great at holding my attention. We paid nine bucks a piece to see it at AMC 24 in Quail Springs. Now, that movie has been out a while, so it was stuck in one of the smaller theaters. I know its a flat rate for movies no matter what size theater they're in. I don't get it though. If I pay nine bucks, I want the full opening night experience on the biggest screen you got. If the movie is showing on a smaller screen and has been out for a while, knock a few bucks off. I think that would drive sales. Hell people may go see a movie twice! I know we'd go to movies more often with tiered pricing. Hell they do it for music on iTunes now. Just an idea and it might keep fewer people from sailing the high seas for a free show.
Agreed! We only go to matinees. I refuse to pay $10 to see a movie!! :)
